If white noise—or even the TikTok-viral brown noise—isn’t helping with your focus or relaxation, perhaps it’s time to get in touch with nature. However, not everyone has the luxury of dropping their responsibilities to go backpacking across the world.

For a quick respite, there’s Earth.fm, a nonprofit project that proclaims itself to be “like Spotify, but for natural soundscapes.” It’s an abundant repository of air, land, and water sounds from untouched places around the globe.
