Is Xbox Live down? [September 2, 2024]

Xbox Live is reportedly down for many players on September 2, according to DownDetector.

 

Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports first started surging above regular levels around 3:29AM Eastern Time. This outage appears to coincide with the downtime of several other popular Microsoft apps and services, including Azure, Minecraft and Microsoft 365.

 

Some players have also turned to social media to indicate connectivity issues.

 

However, at the time of this post, Xbox's official status page is showing "all services up and running" so it's likely that only some users are experiencing the errors.
