Orange
Wendy’s knows spooky snacks aren’t just for little trick-or-treaters. This Halloween, or “HalloWEENDY’s,” the fast-food chain is serving up some spine-tingling fun for all ages with new Boo! Bags, putting on a haunted twist on its classic menu items. Starting October 21, fans can grab these limited-edition meal bundles while supplies last. Each Boo! Bag comes packed with a Dave’s Single burger, small Hot & Crispy Fry, and a small chocolate Frosty. The special addition of a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure adds an extra dash of Halloween spirit to the mix for both “kidults” and kids alike. Each Boo! Bag, spotlighting the mascot with green bows and surrounded by bats, includes a Boo! Book coupon book, featuring five vouchers for free Junior Frosty treats and an extra coupon for a $1.99 kids’ meal with any purchase. For younger goblins and ghouls, Wendy’s is also serving up a Frosty Frights kids’ meal with four-piece chicken nuggets, hamburger, or cheeseburger, paired with Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or Apple Bites and a drink. These meals come with collectible characters like Franken Frosty, Frosty Bite, Coolie Ghoulie, Brrr Beast, Cold Spell, and Junior. Wendy’s has tied its chilling offering to a good cause. For each Boo! Book sold, it will contribute 90 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, supporting efforts to connect foster children with permanent homes. Fast-food chains across the country are embracing the Halloween spirit, with McDonald’s reintroducing its Boo Buckets and Dunkin’ Donuts launching a Munchkins Bucket. Whether you’re grabbing a burger or a bucket, it seems there’s no shortage of spooky fun at the drive-thru. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2024/10/21/wendys-boo-bags-meals-new-collectibles/75776685007/ https://people.com/wendys-brings-back-boo-bags-halloween-toys-for-adults-8731688 Images: Wendy’s
