Porsche Design x Honor debut folding smartphone inspired by the iconic 911 car

Porsche fans are all revved up about the latest tech sensation - the ‘Porsche 911 folding smartphone’. This unique device, a collaboration between Chinese electronics company Honor and German sports car maker Porsche, is making waves for its innovative design and impressive specifications.

 

The folding smartphone, officially known as the Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR, is said to represent the hood line of the iconic Porsche 911. However, some critics argue that the resemblance is hard to spot. Regardless, the smartphone does sport Porsche’s Agate Grey color, adding a touch of luxury to the device.

 

Beyond its design, the Honor Magic V2 boasts a spec sheet that is turning heads. It is touted as the thinnest folding smartphone on the market, measuring just 9.9mm thick when closed. Its large OLED touchscreen is protected by an Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield, which is as hard as Quartz crystal. The phone also features a three-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
