Garth Gator
7-Eleven wants to meat seltzer fans halfway with its new drink. That’s not a typo. The convenience store is causing a stir with an offering called the “Big Bite Hot Dog Sparkling Water,” inspired by its famous Big Bite Hot Dogs. This peculiar drink promises to capture the essence of their iconic hot dog in a bubbly form, complete with “ketchup and mustard included.” The launch is part of a collaboration with Miracle Seltzer, known for its art-inspired sparkling water flavors. While the new lineup of Lemon Lime, Green Apple, and Sweet Orange seem like standard choices, the Hot Dog flavor throws a savory (or unsavory) curveball. Says the chain: Quote The Big Bite Hot Dog Sparkling Water combines the delicious and mouthwatering experience of 7-Eleven’s iconic Big Bite Hot Dog into one refreshing beverage—ketchup and mustard included. Gone are the days of alternating bites of a hot dog with sips of a beverage, now those on the go can swap the bun for bubbles. Blech. The company says it will share more details on when the hot dog water will be available on April 1 (April Fools’ Day). For now, fans can quench their thirst with the collection’s more crowd-pleasing options at select 7-Eleven stores.
