Apple TV+ continues to carve out its niche in the streaming wars. This April, movie buffs will be treated to a diverse selection of 29 films on top of enjoying its original content.

This move comes after Apple TV’s initial foray into licensed content in March, where over 50 movies were made available for a limited time. The April lineup comprises a mix of critically acclaimed titles and crowd-pleasing favorites, catering to a wide range of viewer preferences.

Fans can delve into thought-provoking science fiction like Arrival and Inception, while comedy enthusiasts can revisit hilarious classics like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Bridesmaids. Action aficionados have options like the disaster flick Armageddon and the John Wick trilogy, while fans of heartwarming stories can enjoy Crazy Rich Asians and Bridge of Spies.

Now, hold onto your popcorn, because here’s a fun twist: one of the new additions, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, is available in 3D on Apple Vision Pro. That means if you have your hands on the AR/VR headgear with spatial computing capabilities, you can immerse yourself in the metallic chaos of Autobots and Decepticons—all at no extra cost.

It's important to note that, unlike its competitors, Apple TV+ offers these licensed movies for a limited time. The exact timeframe isn't officially announced, but estimates suggest viewers will have around four to eight weeks to catch these films before they cycle out.

This approach to licensed content presents a unique opportunity for Apple TV+. By offering a curated selection that rotates frequently, the platform keeps its library fresh and encourages subscribers to revisit the app regularly.
