Coloroscopio
Thirsty for multipurpose tools? Well, happy hour has arrived. The Leverage watch, developed by Hong Kong design studio Raskh, is a timepiece with a unique party trick—a built-in bottle opener. It’s world’s first watch to seamlessly integrate this function, offering a solution for the perpetually missing bottle opener at social gatherings. Raskh spent two years working on the Leverage. Its patented mechanism cleverly conceals the opener within the watch's body, revealed by a special rotating crown. This clever design keeps the watch surprisingly thin—just 13.8 millimeters thick—making it a comfortable and stylish wear for every day… and night. Besides being literally fun at parties, the Leverage boasts great functionality. It features a reliable Miyota 8217 automatic movement and 50-meter water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and light adventures. Additionally, the watch comes in four stylish colorways—Daily Blue, Ethereal White, Retro Beige, and a special edition Blackout—with interchangeable nylon and leather straps for a customizable look. For now, the watch remains a Kickstarter project, but if all goes well, it should launch in August, with deliveries slated for January 2025. https://www.dezeen.com/2024/07/08/raskh-watch-bottle-opener/ http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leverage-watch Images: Raskh
