Is PayPal down? [July 17, 2024]

PayPal is reportedly down for many users on July 17, according to DownDetector.

 

Based on data showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started climbing above usual levels since around 6:42AM Eastern Time. User comments include "seeing a blank white screen on phone app and website" and "PayPal credit not working."

 

According to PayPal's official status page, all production systems are showing "operational" at the time of this post, so it's likely that the issue is affecting some users only.
