Is VISA debit card system down?

VISA card system is reportedly down for hundreds of users on August 12, according to Downdetector.

 

Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging since 9:08AM Eastern Time.

 

Many users have also taken to social media to vent frustration, particularly relating to Regions' VISA debit cards.
