Is Virgin Media down? [September 23, 2024]

Virgin Media is reportedly down for hundreds of users on September 23, according to DownDetector.

 

Based on the graph showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports surged around 5:01AM Eastern Time (10:01AM BST).

 

Many Virgin Media customers have also turned to social media to complain over connectivity issues.

Virgin Internet went off about 10am and is still of at 5 pm 7 hours later. is this a common thing because ive only been with them a week?

I live near Blackpool. Mine went off around 10am on 23rd Sept 2024. After being on hold for ages I finally got to speak to a tech support who said my issue is affecting lots of people and  estimated time of fix next day after 3pm at earliest.
