LEGO has further branched out into botanical beauty with the latest addition to its Ideas collection: the Botanical Garden set. The new build transforms 3,792 pieces into a flourishing Victorian wonderland, complete with a stunning three-atrium glasshouse housing 35 plant species.

The glasshouse’s centerpiece is the largest atrium, complete with a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck, where LEGO builders can admire two towering exotic trees.

The two smaller atriums each offer their own twist: one houses a desert garden with lifelike cacti, while the other features a cozy café, providing a perfect spot for the set’s minifigures to relax.

The garden outside the glasshouse is equally vibrant, showcasing colorful peonies and other blooming plants, creating a display-worthy scene for any LEGO fan.

Designed by Italian LEGO enthusiast Valentina Bima, the Botanical Garden set sprouted to being through the LEGO Ideas program after receiving 10,000 votes from the community. Bima, who has been building with LEGO since childhood, wanted to create a model that combined her passion for botanical gardens with her favorite LEGO elements: transparent pieces. These elements allow you to see both the outer beauty and inner details of the design, Bima explains.

This setup also includes 12 minifigures, the largest number ever in a LEGO Ideas release. The lineup features a barista, gardeners, and various visitors exploring the garden, along with a charming collection of animal figures, including a bunny, birds, a beetle, and even a squirrel. Together, these elements bring the garden to life and add playful touches to the architectural model.

The Botanical Garden set will be available for early access to LEGO Insiders on November 1, 2024, through the company’s website and stores. It will open to all buyers starting November 4, with a price tag of $329.99.
