Porsche is revving up your mornings with a caffeine-powered collaboration with Italian coffee machine maker La Marzocco to create an exclusive espresso machine, with production capped, aptly, at 911 units.

Coffee connoisseurs can choose between two distinct designs: the classic Slate Gray Neo or a nostalgic Martini Racing edition that draws inspiration from the livery of the 911 Carrera RSR, which triumphed at the Targa Florio endurance race in 1973.

The attention to detail extends throughout the machine, incorporating automotive-inspired touches that will set Porsche enthusiast’s motors running for the day.

Steam and water twist knobs are modeled after Porsche’s drive mode switch. The machine features anodized aluminum on the rotary and portafilter handles, with black hexagon socket screws adding a sophisticated finish. Even the magnetic drip tray and cup warmer showcase design elements from the Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package.

Deniz Keskin, director of brand management and partnerships at Porsche, explained that both Porsche and La Marzocco share a passion for precision, quality, and heritage. "We are united by our attention to detail," he said.

More than just a statement piece, the Linea Micra offers serious functionality. As a dual-boiler machine, it allows independent control of brewing temperature and steam pressure, ensuring a top-tier espresso experience. The machine’s two-liter water tank is easily refillable, or users can connect it directly to a water supply. Switching between single spout, double spout, or bottomless setups is made simple with a multi-purpose portafilter, and the built-in steam wand takes the guesswork out of milk frothing.

The espresso machine made its debut on October 21, 2024, with simultaneous showcases at London’s Soho Farmhouse, a pop-up café in Los Angeles, and the Shanghai Coffee Festival. It’s now available for purchase at Porsche Centers, Porsche Design stores, and the company’s online store. Fans can also pick up matching accessories, including a La Marzocco electric grinder and branded espresso and cappuccino cups.
