Unilever Debuts ‘Soap Opera’ To Fuel The Imagination Of #CleanTok

Consumer goods giant Unilever recently unveiled a new initiative aimed at engaging with a fast-growing community on TikTok known as #CleanTok in the form of a soap opera.

The five-episode mini-series, titled Dirty Deeds: A Kitchen Crime, brings together some of the company’s well-known cleaning and laundry brands, such as Dirt Is Good (known as OMO, Persil, Surf Excel, Breeze, Rinso, Ala, or Skip), Cif, and Comfort, in a comical drama.

According to the conglomerate, the goal of these short clips is to “cleantertain” a younger audience passionate about cleaning. Interestingly, with more than 35 billion views, #CleanTok has become one of the platform’s most popular communities.
