Your jogging staples this spring are about to get a print-heavy ultra boost.

For Spring/Summer 2023, Adidas and Finnish textile design house Marimekko have once again paired up to run the extra mile with print and performance. This cheerful new selection spotlights two classic Marimekko patterns from the 1960s, creating an array of timeless apparel and footwear that also encourage wearers to express their individuality through movement and exploration.

The pieces, crafted partially with recycled materials, are decked out in the ‘Linssi’ print, an oval ‘lens’ design created by textile and environmental artist Kaarina Kellomäki in 1966 that remains a Marimekko mainstay today; as well as the ‘Lokki’ print, a wavy aesthetic designed by Maija Isola in 1961 that embodies how the sun’s shadows dance on flowy fabric.
