Rimowa Releases Its First Leather Carry-On Suitcase That’s ‘Scratch-Resistant’

Months ago, Rimowa teamed up with Tiffany & Co to create “rock-cut” luggage, decked out with an exquisite aluminum finish that mirrors the sparkle of a diamond. Each trunk came with its handles, wheels, and embossed tag adorned in the signature baby blue hue.

Now, the luxury brand has unveiled its first-ever leather cabin suitcase. While the material may not be the obvious choice when it comes to durability, the Maison’s launch boasts an innovative wrapping technique that ensures the carry-on retains its shape and iconic grooves.

Available in black and navy blue as part of the label’s Distinct collection, the case features an interior furnished by Rimowa’s jacquard monogram, with additional rear protective bumpers to protect the trunk while it travels from one airport to another.
