This innovation, which first made an appearance at the London Design Festival, could mark a significant move towards sustainable luxury in the fashion world.

Unlike the typical high-end handbags that are made of leather, this iteration of the Bou Bang is constructed from bacterial nanocellulose—a resilient and cruelty-free alternative to conventional animal skin and plastic-based synthetics.
