Microsoft Gears Up To Release An Xbox Mastercard

Microsoft has introduced the Xbox Mastercard as part of its Xbox Insider Program, unveiling a partnership with Barclays to offer this unique financial offering. Initially, this collaboration will be exclusive to members of the Xbox Insider Program residing in the United States. However, it’s expected to become accessible to all US-based Xbox users in the coming year.

The key highlight of the Xbox Mastercard is its rewards system. Users will earn one reward point for each dollar spent on everyday purchases, which can later be redeemed for games on the Microsoft Store. The rewards offer three points per dollar spent for select streaming platforms (like Netflix and Disney+) and dining services.

To sweeten the deal, signing up for the Xbox Mastercard with the first purchase will grant users a bonus of 5,000 points, equivalent to US$50, and an additional perk of three free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
