Marshy
Feline-ancial woes, be gone! The Worcester Public Library (WPL) is offering readers a purr-fect opportunity to clear their library fines in March. For its March Meowness: Felines for Fee Forgiveness campaign, the library is accepting any cat picture to erase outstanding fees. This unique initiative aims to encourage library use and welcomes all kinds of cat photos: your own furry friend, a majestic internet meme, or even a drawing you made. It's a win-win for cat lovers and library enthusiasts alike! The library is embracing the spirit of felines in all their forms, even extending the offer to “honorary cats”—pictures of dogs, raccoons, or any other animal that brings you joy. Note that the program applies to WPL-owned items only, and the fines must be at least two months old. Additionally, lost or damaged materials are the target, not overdue returns. So, if you have any outstanding WPL fees and a fondness for felines, head to your nearest branch this month and unleash those penny-saving claws. You might just walk away with a moment of fur-giveness, a lighter fee burden and a brighter day. https://mywpl.org/cat-month https://mymodernmet.com/library-cat-picture-fee-forgiveness/ https://www.wbur.org/news/2024/02/23/worcester-library-cat-pictures Cover image generated with AI
