Dodge has unveiled the Charger Sixpack, its first electric muscle car. This breakthrough for the automaker has sparked a flurry of discussions among car enthusiasts.

The Charger Sixpack, an electric version of the iconic Dodge Charger, is a testament to Dodge’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. It is built on the modular STLA Large platform, which also powers the first Jeep EVs in the US. The Charger Sixpack boasts impressive performance metrics, with the Scat Pack variant delivering a whopping 670 horsepower and 627 ft lbs of torque.

Despite being an electric vehicle, the Charger Sixpack does not compromise on the classic muscle car experience. It features a synthetic “Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust,” which Dodge claims provides real-time feedback that mimics the sound and volume of the outgoing Hellcat Charger.

However, Dodge is not completely abandoning its gas-powered roots. The company also plans to release gas-powered Chargers, including the 550-hp Sixpack H.O and 420-hp Sixpack S.O., both powered by a twin-turbocharged inline-six Hurricane engine.

As Dodge takes a bold step into the future with the Charger Sixpack, it raises an intriguing question: Will the advent of electric muscle cars redefine the automotive industry, or will it face resistance from traditional muscle car enthusiasts? We invite you to share your thoughts on this pivotal development.
