Nando's teams up with Arsenal star Saka for fiery PERi-PERi sauce (limited edition)

Calling all Gunners and spice lovers! Get ready to turn up the heat on your taste buds because Nando's has teamed up with Arsenal's soccer star Bukayo Saka to create a limited-edition sauce called 'PERi-PERi Saka Sauce’!

 

Saka, a regular Nando's customer since childhood,, wasn't just the face of this campaign; he actively participated in developing his dream sauce alongside the Nando's food experts. Described as a "sweet, fiery, and filled with (free) kick," the 'PERi-PERi Saka Sauce' is a harmonious blend of smoky BBQ, garlic, and tomato flavors, all perfectly balanced with Nando's signature PERi-PERi heat. Apparently, it even got the seal of approval from Saka's dad, so you know it's good!

 

This partnership goes beyond just a condiment. Nando's also released a cool ad campaign featuring Saka himself, showcasing his love for the restaurant and his creation.

 

 

The bottle design is a feast for the eyes, too. Nando’s brought in talented artist Reuben Dangoor to create the design. Dangoor is known for his viral illustration of Gareth Southgate, designing Beckham’s kit for Fifa 22, and the artwork wrapping the Emirates stadium.

So, while Saka keeps busy juggling club and international commitments (England vs Brazil, anyone?), you can head down to your local Nando's and experience the sauce firsthand. Who knows, maybe it'll give you the same fire on the pitch... or at least at your next BBQ!
