Chipotle launches giveaway of 100,000 free burritos (and an interactive game)

In a delectable marketing move that has foodies buzzing, Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced a massive giveaway. The popular fast-food chain is giving away 100,000 free burritos, a move that coincides with National Burrito Day. This generous offer is part of an interactive game called “Burrito Vault” that the company has launched.

 

The “Burrito Vault” game challenges fans to guess two exact order combinations, ingredient by ingredient. The first 50,000 fans who successfully decipher the Burrito Vault code on April 2 and April 3 will win a Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) free entrée code. The game begins daily at noon PT, and winners can only redeem the code on April 4.

 

In addition to the BOGO offer, those who win a code will automatically be entered into Chipotle’s National Burrito Day sweepstakes. This sweepstakes will randomly select 53 winners, who will receive free burritos for a year in the form of 52 reward credits for a regular entrée.

 

On National Burrito Day, Chipotle is also extending a $0 delivery fee offer to all Chipotle Rewards members ordering via Chipotle.com, Chipotle.ca, and the Chipotle app with the code DELIVER. This offer is another way the company is celebrating National Burrito Day and rewarding its loyal customers.
