She’s claimed the coveted title of the most iconic video game character of all time in a recent British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) poll, leaving gaming legends like Mario and Sonic in her dust. Lara’s victory is hardly a shocker. She’s been showing us that brainy women can be action heroes since the 90s. And now, she’s topped the charts, beating a host of beloved characters.
