Trendingger Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Google seems to have inadvertently revealed its upcoming Pixel 8a in a new advertisement. The Pixel 8a, the successor to the Pixel 7a, was expected to be announced at the Google I/O event in May. However, the new Google Fi ad has prematurely unveiled the Pixel 8a, showcasing it in blue and coral colors, a departure from the color palette of the Pixel 8. The Pixel 7a, known for being a budget-friendly phone with stock Android, is nearing its one-year anniversary. Its successor, the Pixel 8a, is already generating buzz in the tech community. A recent batch of leaks has provided further evidence of the handset’s existence, revealing the specs and design we can anticipate in the upcoming mid-range phone. Google has a history of seemingly accidental leaks right before launch. Whether this was an intentional leak or a genuine mistake remains unclear. However, the leaked images of the Pixel 8a in the Google Fi ad have certainly piqued the interest of tech enthusiasts. If the pictured smartphone is indeed the Pixel 8a, the new release is expected to bring a new, much more rounded design alongside some other tweaks. One hands-on leak even revealed a vibrant blue color variant. Will the Pixel 8a live up to the hype? What are your thoughts on this unexpected reveal? Share your views in the comments below.
