Speedo unveils Australia's Olympic & Paralympic suits with a splashy display

Australia’s Olympic swimmers are diving headfirst into Paris with high-tech suits that are all about speed. Speedo just unveiled the new team uniforms, and the launch was anything but ordinary.

 

The Fastskin LZR Intent 2.0 and LZR Valor 2.0 are designed for peak performance. Developed by Speedo's Aqualab, these suits use Lamoral Space Tech, which basically translates to super-slick, water-repelling fabric for swimmers.

Expect to see these sleek suits on superstars like Ariarne Titmus, Emma McKeon, Kaylee McKeown, and Zac Stubblety-Cook as they dominate the pool in Paris.

 

Speedo isn’t just aiming for gold medals, it’s aiming for a takeover, both in the water and, well, on famous landmarks! A CG animation posted to social media sees giant versions of the suits draped over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and billowing in the wind.
