Is MailChimp down?

Hundreds of users are reportedly having connection issues to MailChimp today, May 26, according to the surge in reports on Downdetector. We attempted to load mailchimp.com on our end, but was been directed to a “this site can’t be reached” error page.

Complaints of downtime started to be logged around 6:41PM EDT, and have continued to climb over the past couple of hours. According to the heatmap, most reports seem to arise from major US cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

 

Mailchimp is a popular email and marketing automation platform that caters to growing businesses, with over 13 million users.

[UPDATE - 10:45PM EDT] MailChimp acknowledged the issue, via a post on X, and indicated that its engineering team is working towards a fix.

 

[UPDATE - 10:52PM EDT] We attempted to visit mailchimp.com again, and the website appears to be loading OK.
