Thousands of users are currently having connectivity issues with Steam Community, based on Downdetector, since around 11:44PM EDT on Jun 1, 2024.

 

The most reported problems are related to server connection (65%), and website issues (32%). User comments cited errors such as "APIs and interfaces are down" and "trades aren't working as well."

 

Steam Workshop is a community-driven platform where users and content creators can upload and download content for their favorite games. It supports a wide variety of items, including mods, artwork, skins, maps, and more.

 

According to SteamDB's website, a message "we are aware that you cannot login to SteamDB due to DNS error on steamcommunity.com" is showing up on the top of the website.

[UPDATE] In a post on X, @SteamStatus has identified that the cause of downtime is due to DNS issues, affecting sign-ins to SteamDB. The unofficial website of the Steam Community has also shared a status update: "domain is currently being held at the registrar, which causes DNS to not resolve."
