Status Is Down Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Many users have taken to Downdetector and X to report that they are currently experiencing connectivity issues with Apple Pay, since around 11PM EDT on Jun 3. According to data on the downtime tracking service, 51% of the complaints are related to payments, while 49% involves funds transfer. Apple Pay, a mobile contact payment system and digital wallet service offered on iOS and MacOS devices, allows users to make purchases using near-field communication (NFC) at the point of sale, whether in person via iOS apps or remotely over the internet.
