Spotify is reportedly down right now for hundreds of users, who have taken to Downdetector and social media to indicate that they are having connectivity issues with the popular music streaming app on Jun 5.

 

According to Downdetector, user complaints have started to surge since around 7:05AM EDT with around 62% citing issues with the app and 24% with the website. Our attempt to load Spotify on the app worked fine, so it's likely that the outage is impacting some users only.

 

On X (Twitter), one user indicated "Spotify web is broken" while another cited "auth service seems to be down."

 

 

Spotify has over 602 million monthly active users globally, based on March 2024 statistics. This makes it one of the largest music streaming service providers globally.
