Is Squarespace down?

Many users have taken to Downdetector and social media to indicate that they are having connectivity issues with Squarespace on Jun 6, 2024.

 

The number of user reports on Downdetector appear to have started climbing since 10:37AM EDT, with 86% of the complaints citing website issues.

 

On X, users are citing errors such as "headers are now all blank" and product photos not displaying. Others mentioned the inability to "edit anything."

 

A check on Squarespace's status page at around 12PM EDT showed "all systems operational."

 

 

We tried loading Squarespace.com on our end too, and were able to log in and edit without noticeable glitches, thus it's likely that the outage may be affecting some users only. 

 

Squarespace is a popular website-building platform that allows users to create, manage, and host websites. It offers pre-designed templates and drag-and-drop tools to craft portfolios, blogs, and online stores. As of the end of 2023, Squarespace has over 4.6 million unique subscriptions.
