Pinterest has just launched an imaginative new brand campaign. This visual spectacle positions Pinterest as a platform where the journey of self-discovery transforms into an adventure.

The campaign is a cinematic journey through the fantastical world of Pinterest. It’s a place where disparate ideas converge to create a unique world for each user. The campaign, inspired by real stories from Pinterest users, showcases the platform as a space where creativity and individuality thrive.

Xanthe Wells, VP of Global Creative at Pinterest, sees the platform as the 'magic middle’. It’s a space where users can discover and shape their unique identities. This extends beyond searching and saving, and into shopping.

The campaign was produced entirely in-house by Pinterest’s House of Creative. It was directed by Iconoclast duo Alaska, edited by Rami d’Aguiar of Cabin, and visual effects were created by Noise VFX. The campaign was filmed practically across three soundstages, reflecting Pinterest’s aim to inspire action in the real world.

The campaign features several spots, each highlighting a different aspect of Pinterest. One spot shows a metaphorical Alice going down the rabbit hole, being inspired by things she would have never searched out, and eventually, finding herself. Another spot, inspired by a real user story of learning to knit on Pinterest, shows how Pinterest can help actualize ideas.

Pinterest is not just a platform for inspiration, but also a place to follow your obsessions. Whether it’s finding the perfect festival fit or your next passion project, Pinterest invites you on a trip down the rabbit hole into a world of infinite inspiration.

How will this new campaign influence the way we seek and share inspiration? Will it change the way you perceive Pinterest? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments below.
