Musk’s primary concern revolves around the integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology into Apple’s devices. He perceives this move as a 'security violation’, questioning Apple’s ability to safeguard user information. Musk’s skepticism is rooted in his belief that Apple lacks the expertise to develop its own AI, yet claims to ensure OpenAI will protect user security and privacy.

 

 

The tech mogul went a step further, threatening to prohibit Apple devices at his companies. This drastic measure, if implemented, would affect more than 100,000 employees across Tesla, SpaceX, and X. Visitors to these companies would be required to check their Apple devices at the door.

 

 

This controversy comes amid a legal dispute between Musk and OpenAI. Musk, a co-founder of OpenAI, has accused the AI company of deviating from its original mission of benefiting humanity. In response, Musk has launched xAI, a rival AI company, aiming to 'maximally benefit all of humanity’.
