Their collaborative effort aims at averting a summertime blood shortage, a challenge they also addressed last year. This partnership’s focus lies in illuminating the ongoing need for blood donation.As the summer heat continues, the American Red Cross is grappling with a potential shortage of around 25,000 blood donations, affecting the supply of crucial blood products for hospitals.

The drive will be hosted on August 17 in Atlanta. Those who reserve their spot beforehand will walk away with exclusive custom mesh shorts designed by Eric Emanuel.

The pants are a pair of board shorts that sport circular red dots that look a little like blood cells. They also have the American Red Cross and EE symbols printed on them.
