Cash app is reportedly down for many users on July 17, according to DownDetector.

 

Based on data showing on the outage tracking service, the volume of user reports started surging since around 5:16PM Eastern Time.  One user commented "my direct deposit hasn't came through" with several others acknowledging they're facing the same issue too.

 

Cash App, initially named Square Cash, is a peer-to-peer (P2P) payment app. It allows individuals to quickly send, receive, and invest money. It also provides banking services and debit cards through its bank partners. As of 2024, Cash App reports 57 million monthly transacting users.
