Trendingger Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Twitter, the popular microblogging platform, experienced an outage on April 29, 2024. The interruption left users worldwide unable to access their feeds. Downdetector, an online service that provides real-time updates based on web users’ activity, showed a significant spike in problem reports. The outage was first reported around 3:06 AM EDT. Users attempting to access the platform were met with a message saying "Tweets aren’t loading right now. Try again". Image: Downdetector as of 4:32AM Eastern Time on Apr 29, 2024 Users on both mobile devices and desktop computers were met with blank feeds. Some users also reported that posts were loading slow or not at all. This outage is the latest of a string of downtimes experienced by some of the world’s largest social media platforms. Just last month, X/Twitter’s boss, Elon Musk, mocked Facebook & Instagram for going down with a post chirping “If you're reading this post, it's because our servers are working.” How has this outage impacted your daily routine or workflow?
