ChatGPT is down again with 'major outage' for 2nd time today [Jun 4, 2024]

Thousands of users have taken to Downdetector to report connectivity issues with OpenAI / ChatGPT right now.

 

According to OpenAI's official status page, "ChatGPT is unavailable for some users" as of 3:29AM EDT on Jun 4, and they are currently investigating the issue.

 

 

In the meantime, many users have taken to social media to vent their frustration (and humor).

 

 

Just two weeks ago, the massively popular OpenAI's chatbot encountered an outage for several hours, impacting workflows worldwide.

[UPDATE] According to OpenAI's status page, ChatGPT is experiencing a “major outage” for the second time today, as of 10:33AM EDT.

 

 

A check on DownDetector is also showing a sharp spike in complaints, with thousands of users reporting connectivity issues since around 10AM EDT.
