Jeep unveils its first global electric SUV, the all-new Wagoneer S

Jeep, renowned for its off-road Wranglers, has officially revealed its first global electric vehicle (EV), the Wagoneer S. This electrifying revelation marks a new chapter in the storied history of the US automaker.

 

The Wagoneer S, distinctively a Jeep and 100% electric in every way, is set to redefine the SUV landscape. This premium electric SUV boasts over 300 miles of range, a tech-loaded interior, and lightning-quick acceleration. With 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque, the electric SUV can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds.

 

 

 

 

 

The Wagoneer S is powered by a 400-volt, 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack. With DC fast charging, the battery can change from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes. This EV is built on the STLA Large platform, the same expected to underpin the upcoming electric Dodge Charger.

 

The Wagoneer S is not just about power and speed. It’s also about conquering any terrain. The electric drive modules, designed by Stellantis, provide instant torque independently to the front and rear wheels. Standard 4WD is designed for a variety of road conditions. Jeep included its signature Selec-Terrain for better traction in all weather and road conditions with Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand modes.

The design of the Wagoneer S is a blend of heritage and innovation. The most noticeable feature is the redesigned seven-slot grille with ambient cast lighting. The first Jeep Wagoneer S, the 2024 Launch Edition, will feature exclusive dark accent features, including 20" Gloss Black Wheels.
