Webcrawler Posted June 12 Share Posted June 12 Many users have taken to DownDetector and IsDown to report connectivity issues to ChatGPT / OpenAI on June 12, 2024. According to the graph on DownDetector, the volume of user reports started to increase since around 7:33PM on Jun 11, 2024 and has remained at a higher-than-usual level. User comments on the downtime tracking websites include "failing to generate responses" and "not performing as logically as it usually does." On social media, X users are expressing their frustrations too. Our attempt to load chat.openai.com appeared to work fine without noticeable glitch, so it's likely that the outage is affecting some users only. Interestingly, in its most recent post on X, OpenAI mentioned another unrelated (or is it?) matter regarding its cloud and infrastructure systems.
