Based on data shown on the outage tracking service, the volume of reports surged since around 8:55AM Eastern Time. One user remarked "web page not available" while another commented "web page not working." Several users have also taken to social media to indicate connectivity issues. According to PayPal's official status page, there is an update notifying of "impact to PayPal homepage" affecting North America and is ongoing at the time of this post. It added that users may experience a blank page while accessing the website, and that its technical teams are working to resolve the issue. PayPal is a popular online payment platform that lets individuals and businesses make transactions by connecting their checking account, credit card, or PayPal wallets.
