According to data seen on the latter, the volume of reports started surging around 11:29AM Eastern Time. On X (formerly Twitter), the #WhatsAppDown hashtag is currently trending, with users remarking their inability to share voice notes or "any media." According to Meta's official status page, there are currently "no known issues" at the time of this post. However, an update earlier today at 4:21AM EDT indicates a "WhatsApp Business Account Management" issue has been resolved.
