Is ChatGPT down? [June 17, 2024]

A number of users have taken to social media to report connectivity issues with ChatGPT on June 17, 2024.

 

 

A check on Downdetector and IsDown reflected a similar situation, with the number of reports starting to climb since 9:04AM EDT, although OpenAI's official status page are showing "all systems operational" at the time of this post.

[UPDATE] The outage appears to have significantly worsened since this post was created, with thousands more users reporting issues at Downdetector. At 11:39 PDT, OpenAI posted an update on its official status page: "Elevated errors on ChatGPT."
